Welcome to Castle Veterinary Surgeons

Established in Barnard Castle for over 70 years, Castle Vets has been transformed from a traditional Dales Market Town farm animal practice to what it is now - a modern dynamic Veterinary Practice capable of dealing with virtually everything the domestic animal world presents.

We have evolved into three departments each focusing on either Horses, Farm Animals or Pets. We have continually outgrown our premises and in 1997 we moved to our purpose-built premises on Harmire Enterprise Park, where we enjoy excellent access for our clients.

We also have a branch surgery at St Helens Auckland which was refurbished internally in 2007 to provide additional surgical and kennelling facilities, and where we can undertake most procedures not requiring overnight or prolonged hospitalisation.
